The most advanced unit CVTS ( Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery) for treatment of heart related
diseases has been started at Western Railway's Jagjivan Ram Hospital (JRH) on August22, 2012, Mumbai Central. According to Mr. Sharat Chandrayan, CPRO (Chief Public Relations Officer) of Western Railway this is the most advanced Digital Subraction Angiography cath lab in the country.
The Good news is that, Railway employees & their families henceforth can avail the best health facilities i.e complicated cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions now can be carried out at JRH.
Dr. H. M. Jain, CMD (Chief Medical Director), JRH intimated that on the very first day four cardiac interventions were successfully done at JRH with the assistance of Dr. M.V.
